Establishment number 42nd of Phat Sai street is a four-stories commercial building located in the heart of Bangkok's Chinatown or Yaowarat. The building itself was built in 1942 by Vahappala family and has been inherited by the Vahappala for over three generations. And as it was first used as a family residence and later on a multifunctional building, it was named "Vahap Residence" as to honoured its founder.

In order to represent Yaowarat's ever-wakeful spirit using Vahappala family's residential heritage as the "master home", Vahap Residence offers its guests a full experience starting from the sunrise until the sundown. The residence curates a home for holisticnes where every particular timeline of the day can be experienced differently.

The official Vahap mark.

The mark is inspired by the door frame entering the building, as well as, the sun.

The logotype is inspired by traditional lettering seen throughout Yaowarat’s shops and street signs with a contemporary twist.
